The North Wing is located on the seventh floor of Hogwarts Castle, with scores of bookshelves lined along the walls and various tables and furniture placed around the room. It serves the Castle as a reading room and study hall. There are two entrances; one in the seventh floor corridor and the other in the Fat Lady's Corridor.

High at the top of the tallest towers in Hogwarts is the Ravenclaw Common Room. The lady in the painting will ask the Ravenclaw house members a riddle, in which, if answered correctly, shall gain them access to the bronze and blue colored common room.

Known from the stories of the second war, this room may only be found by those who have needs to be fulfilled. Many members of Dumbledore's Army have used this room before, so perhaps the investigators or anyone can find a use in this room.

A dusty attic at a long forgotten part of the castle holds old books from the library and other discarded magical artifacts. A wooden staircase leads up to a small wooden door. It is unlocked as the teaching staff do not think that students would go up there.
