A small smile slipped itself onto Cameron's lips for just a moment as she starred down at the old photo album on her lips. In front of her laid a picture of herself on her seventeenth birthday, some of her brown hair fell into her face, neatly the rest tied into pony tail behind her head, while she wore her favorite white dress that hugged her in all the right places, with high heels to match. Her arms were wrapped along her brothers neck holding him closely as the two of them smiled for the camera. That was the last time she had seen Scott and she had no idea where he was now, and even if she knew it would be to dangerous to contact him. Scott was the closest family that she had. He practically raised her through their whole childhood, and now that he was on the run from their father she couldn't remember the last time she had even spent a full day with him. A sigh escaped the young girls lips as she starred sadly down at the photo. A tear rolled down her cheek a moment later and whipped it away before the door opened to reveal Bethany who gave her a sympathetic look as she made her way over to the bed, closed the photo book on Cameron's lap and left it at the center of the bed between them.
"I know you miss Scott, but he's going to be back sooner than you think." Bethany explained flashing the other brunette one of her famous dazzling smiles. She shifted in her spot on the bed and stood up grabbing Cameron's hand as she went ignoring the confused look the girl shot her way and spoke up before Cameron had time to open her mouth. "We're going out, and you're going to have fun, even if I have to force you." Bethany explained determination in her eyes. Cameron thought for a movement about arguing with her about it, but decided there was no point. No matter what she tried Beth was going to get her out of this room and to a party, so she just sighed and went along with it.
The seventeen year old ran her fingers through her hair and watched as Beth searched through her closet and pulled out a very form fitting dress she had gotten as a gift she never intended to wear on this life time, a pair of heels so high she would never be able to survive the whole night in, and a leather jacket and tossed them on Cameron's bed. Cameron starred at the outfit for a moment and bit her lip. She really wasn't up for going out, let alone going out and looking like she was on display and available to be gawked at like she was for sale. She didn't even notice Beth go over to her jewelry and pull out a pair of outrageous earrings and accessories to go along with the outfit and nearly jumped out of her son when she turned around to find the girl starring at her expectantly.
"I don't know about this." She said hesitantly as she looked between Beth and the clothes she had picks out for her, and after that more protest followed as the other girl forced her into the shower l, caked her face in questionable, but tasteful makeup, and got her into the outfit. By the time they were done she didn't recognize herself, she looked... Grown up.
Once Bethany had gotten dressed as well they snuck through the empty common room, through the hallways to the dungeons, and into the Hufflepuff common room where a party was going on, kids from every house danced in the center of the room while the drinks flowed around and Cameron had to admit it looked like a blast when someone handed her her first drink and two hours and 4 drinks, 7 shots, and a dance on top of a table later she found herself bring carried back to the common room by a pair of strong arms. Her brown eyes blinked in confusion for a moment as she tried to get a grip on her vision and buried her head in the chest of whoever was carrying her and that smell was so familiar, it was so good it reminded her of Zac, sweet, gorgeous Zac Baker. She pulled her face away from the warm chest and looked up to see exactly whom she thought it was. "Zac?" she questioned confused. "Why are you carrying me?" she asked trying to remember what could have happened in the last two hours, but the alcohol swirling through her system was making it difficult. She rested her head back against his chest and inhaled. "You smell so good. she slurred out as she snuggled into him. "Why do you smell so good and warm... Can you smell warm? I don't know, but if you can, you do. she said giggling to herself.
