So she can be quiet one minute and loud the next.
Maddie is extremely nice to everyone, unless you gave her a bad first impression. She judges everyone through their first impression on her. But if you leave a bad first impression, you will have one chance to prove that you made a mistake. She thinks that everyone deserves a second chance. Normally, though, if you gave her an extremely bad first impression, then it will stick to her mind like superglue.
She does not judge anyone. She treats everyone equally. If there’s a fight between friends, or anyone for that matter, she will not take sides. Even if it’s her best friend and her enemy that’s fighting, she’ll try to be as equal as possible unless one is being unreasonable. She will not think poorly or highly of you if you are a certain race, a certain gender, or a certain nationality.
She’s very helpful and generous. If she sees that you’re in desperate need, you won’t even need to say a word and she will be there for you. If you need someone to talk to, Madison’s the girl. What ever the time it is, if you need someone, she will be there. If she sees that an elderly needing help carrying groceries or something, she will help- even if she doesn’t know them. Vanessa loves to help, whatever it is, she will do, unless it¡¦s something illegal- That, she will not do. It’s very hard for her to not help. Sometimes she even has trouble refusing requests.
When meeting new people, sometimes she can be overly talkative if she's nervous. All that it means is that she's just trying to impress you. Sooner or later, she'll feel more comfortable and start acting like herself again. Or if there are a lot of things rumbling through her mind, she is dead silent. It won’t make a difference if you disturb her because she wouldn’t be able to hear you if she’s concentrating on something. She isn’t easily distracted. Even though Maddie is all these great things, there are still some bad sides to her. For example, she’s very emotional sometimes. Madison was the second twin born on January 1st to Benjamin and Madeline Sullivan. She and her brother Ryan were the pride and joy of their family at the time, but soon things changed for the worst. At a young age with such a family, Madison and Ryan’s mother became fairly ill, and racked with depression. Her thoughts and illness became dangerous for doth of the children and so, unable to give up his son Benjamin became desperate to protect his only daughter from her mother. He placed the girl into a foster home with nowhere else to turn. Madison was there until the age of three when she was finally adopted by Marcus J. Baker & Christina Baker, She was a bit to young to realize what exactly was happening to her, but at the time she was a very content and happy baby girl. It wasn’t till the age of eleven that things had become very hard for Madison. Her foster father had become a drunk and practiced in infidelity very often. He’d began to abuse his wife for all she was worth and continued to do so behind closed doors. In front of everyone however he seemed like the perfect husband. After a while he had moved on to sexual abuse and when Madison had began to have visions of her foster mothers future pain she had continuously woken up crying or screaming. After a while Marcus had begun to get sick of her behavior and with her and their actual daughter Katherine who was two years younger and abused them as well, but went as far as to sexually abuse Madison for a while.
When Madison had finally gotten her acceptance letter into Hogwarts she couldn’t have been more thrilled to leave in her life, and although she worried about her sister and weather or not her father would begin to sexually abuse her as well, she left for Hogwarts. During her first year she had met a few interesting people and friends that she’d bee with for a while on the train, but no one she felt a great connection with. At the feast she was sorted in Hufflepuff for her kind heart and outgoing mind and behavior. The school year was always her favorite time. She received letters from her sister, although she didn’t need to know what was going on at home. She was relieved her father hadn’t begun sexually abusing Katherine, but dreaded leaving the place she had called home when the end of the year came. The summer holidays were horrible. Her father would get drunk and abuse the girls in the house as normal, not as often as when he’d first started to do so, but it took a while. The summer was over too soon and she returned to Hogwarts for her second year. By the time her third year rolled around she was pleased her sister would finally be joining her at Hogwarts though her father was against the idea.
Having her sister with her at Hogwarts put Madison’s mind more at ease, she did better with school and learned how to play the guitar and the piano. She excelled in potions though she found it boring and helped her sister with whatever the girl needed, even though she had managed to get herself into Gryffindor. Though the next few years made it easier. The summer before her sixth year when she was at him strumming her guitar, her father was out thankfully, someone knocked on their house door. Madison, being the only one home went to answer and came upon a woman and a boy who looked to be about her age, who she’d seen around Hogwarts only a handful of times, he was a Ravenclaw so they didn’t have many classes together. She questioned her the best she could have and by the end was shocked to discover she was her aunt Abigail and the guy who she felt a rather odd connection was her Twin brother. Abigail had done most of the talking and explained to her that her father had died and in his will asked that his two children come live with them, but she said nothing about her mother. Once Abigail left the twins alone there was silence. Madison and Ryan both got to know each other little by little and finally she asked what had become of their mother. Ryan calmly and emotionlessly told her their mother had taken her own life when he was seven and he’d managed to be the one to find her dead body. After that the two of them didn’t talk much about their mother.
Eventually, right before the school year started Madison had moved in with her Aunt, Ryan and their cousin Nick, leaving behind her foster family. She missed her sister terribly but wanted nothing more than to bring the girl with her and away from that house. Madison slowly climbed the steps to the owlery in complete annoyance. She absolutely had to deliver this note to Valarie and to rant about everything that had been going on with her. She missed her best friends terribly and needed to here from them and hopefully they could help her figure out her issues.
She Climbed the last step and looked around at all the owls looking for her Black owl, she had named Phoenix. The moment her eyes landed on the bird she smiled and called him down. The Owl flew down to her with grace and landed on her shoulder hooting in annoyance at her and looked in the opposite direction. "I'm sorry Nixy, I really am, but i've been busy, you understand don't you?" She asked stroking his feathers and he hooted in appreciation. "Ok I know how much you're probably Missing Tessy so take this To Val and stay for a while until she sends back a reply, but don't rush her." She told the Owl and handed him the letter before he flew off.
