Canon list of our forum is very simple and easy.If you hold any questions or doubts against it then ask the mods or create a thread in the FAQ's .
Just a few things that you need to know.

• You can choose the name for your character that is the first name,and the middle name and the last name being the same that belongs in the list.
  
• You can choose their houses,whether you want them to be in slytherin,or gryffindor,or hufflepuff,or ravenclaw.
  
• You wouldnt be allowed to choose their years though.
  
• You can choose their PB but remember as the Weasleys are red headed and the Malfoy's are MOSTLY with whitish blonde hair but its not MUST ( because pansy parkinson had black color hair) .
  
• You can even choose races for them.
  
• You can even have different types of plots with other characters of your wish.
  
• You can decide their past,present and future with your ideas of plots with other characters.
  
  && thats it. Those were the simple little things that are allowed and the magic in your hands.
