perse was glad to be back at school, it meant that she got to see the friends that she did have and it also meant that she didn't have to be in the midst of her god-awful family. her parents were horrible to each other and to her, but her siblings. that was a whole different story. she loved her brother and sister, although they might not love her as much as she had wanted them to. her and her brother were never really close, they actually had a horrible relationship; they always fought and argued till they couldn't anymore. he's the only person in the world who brings out that side of persephone. wheras her and her sister are fairly close. they were placed in the same house and always had a good relationship, they argued at times, but nothing like perse and her brother.
persephone walked over to the owlery from the ravenclaw common room, where she had been. she was going to send a letter to mother; she always wanted to know what perse was up to at every time of the year. persephone loved her mother, but sometimes she got a bit suffocating being the oldest. she always wanted to know how the other two were going in school and how many friends they had and how perse was doing and how her classes were going and if she had any boyfriends yet. perse hasn't really had that much experience with boys; she's had a boyfriend or two but nothing very serious.
persephone got to the owlery and walked over to her owl, teddy and spoke to him. "you get this to mum, okay, mister? don't stop to see any pretty owls, cause she's gonna want to know about what i've been up to since we got back. and please try to get there and not crash into any windows or pretty lights." teddy was pretty young, but he still hadn't gotten the whole flying thing worked out yet, so far. he was learning, which is good. she just stared at him, waiting for him to do something. she took the letter and envelope out of her pocket and put her letter into the envelope. she sealed it quickly and gave it to her owl. he just looked at her like she was crazy or something along those lines. all she could do was laugh lightly at him.
