For those who are on real life role plays, this may be a very familiar thing. I'm talking about the 'instant messengers and cell phone texts' thingy, it gets you in touch with other character within seconds and you can either talk to strangers or the people you know right? These days I find them to be really playful and I've to admit it that for some reasons I'm addicted to 'em. xD I think it'd be a nice thing if we have something like that on here but hey, as we all know gadgets and electronics aren't allowed in the magical world especially Hogwarts. If you don't know of this then listen carefully, if your character is a muggleborn/mudblood then don't think you can use electronics/gadgets such as cell phones and ipods in magical world and in Hogwarts cause they won't work at all. WHY? Its a rule so follow it & such things either gets destroyed or ruined on their own so its better to keep them back in the muggle world before gettin' in the wizarding world. They can only be used till you're on the London express and about to enter the 9 3/4 express. Okay, getting back to the main point, which is that we're now going to have the same facility such as texts/instant messenger but not in terms of technology or with the use of gadgets/electronics but with the help of magic. How? Read whats given below.
Two years ago, the Ministry of Magic thought to have a better way to get in touch others & getting quick and fast replies other than writing down letters, using the fire and apparating. they thought of something that won't be traceable and they could do their work privately. So a new spell was created called 'smessio' & it was only used by the workers of the Ministry. The students of Hogwarts found it to be a very helpful and fascinating spell and demanded that they should be given the same facility and allowed to use this system and after several meetings over this topic, the ministry agreed only on the condition that the use of owls and writing down letters won't be reduced or effected by the use of this system and also that the students will have a system that could be easily traced by the ministry. two more rules were imposed that this system would only be used by students of hogwarts varying from the age of thirteen to eighteen and below and after this age, their system would be locked up automatically and only the students of Hogwarts, Staff members of Hogwarts and workers of the ministry could use it, other than them none had the right unless they were registered under the list of the smessio textio', which was coming' soon. All the rules and regulations were strictly put in effort and accepted by the students of hogwarts and every single student of Hogwarts was given a unique 3 digit number under their house. The system was installed in and officially only in Hogwarts.
How can we use this system?
The new generation had brought up technology into the world of magic and a little device is given to all you the students of hogwarts, teachers and ministry workers and also the people who have registered themselves. With the help of the invention of this new spell and device you don't need any quill or paper. You have to simple pick up the little device and narrate your words to device and the recorded voice of yours will turn into words. But in the texito device you can maximumly fit SIXTY words per text/message & you can stick a little photo of yours somewhere side by and time would automatically appear if you want it to be there with a little title somewhere above your message or below your photo. whatever your imagination is for designing your texito automatically appears on the screen on your smessip device. It's a little device that makes sound when you receive a new texito and it's of a small size that you can easily carry around with you anywhere but it only works for students of Hogwarts and anyone related to the minsitry or hogwarts
okay so how do we sent it to others? just speak out your reply and your voice will turn into words on the screen of the device then think of way to design your texito and wave your wand on your smessio device and your texito will be deigned as you wanted it to be and then say the name of the person you're sending it to, and say the 3 digit number of theirs [thats the most important thing and you've to remember it] & then say the spell 'smessio texitto' and and the texito is sent to the person. It'll disappear from the screen, reach to the person you've sent to and if they reply back the same procedure they have to follow and this way it can go on.
next question, how do we get in touch with any random/stranger student of any house? well you don't really need to mention the name or house, just randomly say any three digit number and say something that turn onto the screen f your smessio device and say the magical spell and your texito will reach to to whose got their system of the three digit number you've sent it on and then this way you start up a conversation with a stranger if only they reply back. AND, at times you end up using' the wrong number by mistake, so then you still get in touch with a stranger/random person. Pretty interesting isn't it? Use it well. Keep the rules in you mind and follow 'em.
