She has tender emotions as well; she only feels them around her sisters, however. Especially her smallest sister in only the first year. She is extremely protective of them; if another person makes one wrong move with them, say; they so much as call them a bad word, they are most certainly dead.

Alexis was born on the eighteenth of October. Her parents thought she was a little miracle, along with her sister, who was born one hour later. She was raised jubilantly, and was spoiled until a certain day came. When Alexis was seven years old, her younger sister insisted to walk a mile into the woods. She called her a scaredy-cat when she refused, and Alexis finally obliged. She had almost reached a mile when the sounds of large footsteps rumbled through the forest. She turned and ran as fast as she could, but the monster caught up with her and bit her on the arm. When she barely escaped with her life, she walked home and was met with resentful parents.

Soon afterwards, she was dumped in the Ivy Thorn orphanage. The lady that ran the place was cruel, the winters were freezing, and the food was disgusting. The worst part for Alexis was the full moon every month. She barely managed to save her skin every time, but she grew a bit used to the pain. The other kids stayed away from her, seeing her as nothing more than a monster. When she was accepted to Hogwarts, she didn't believe a word of it. It was too good to be true.

Alexis threw open the doors to the grounds. She sighed in relief when fresh air tickled her nose, caressing her cheek and fleeing towards the sky. She walked slowly down towards the lake, a small pile of books teetering in her left hand. She sat down under a tree gently and set her books down, opening one to a certain page and pointing a black fingernail underneath the chapter name. She hastily pulled out a sheet of parchment and a quill, beginning to write her essay.

"Ten..Ways..A..Sleeping...Potion..Can..Cause..Brain..Damage." she said each word as she wrote it, holding her quill aloft for a moment to study the book before continuing to write. Her every thought was fixed on getting the essay complete. She was so focused that she didn't even hear the crunching of footsteps heading in her direction.

She snapped out of her daze when she heard someone cough. Annoyance flooded through her veins and she said automatically, "Sam, you know better than to not bother me." she turned to scold Sam in person only to discover that the person there was indeed not Sam.
