He rarely if ever misses on the opportunity to help his friends, even if it risks him not studying the day before a test. He is loyal, though even he knows when to back away from a potentially volatile situation.
Jake tends to be a bit shy around a girl that he likes, and he also has the unfortunate luck of being easily manipulated by the girl if she so chose. Jake tends to be protective of his female friends as well, often times putting himself at risk to keep them out of harms way.
Jake loves to study and that tends to be one of the things he does the most outside of hanging out with his friends. When not around friends or in class, Jake can be seen in the library or near the lake, studying or working on homework.

-----parents: Matthew Sven Johanson is 39, a former Dark Wizard and currently an auror. His mother disappeared from his life shortly after Matt became a dark wizard, thus leaving Jake with little to no knowledge of her, only that she was 41 and a healer at St. Mungos.
-----history: Jake was born in Glasgow, Scotland during a time where his father was in a state of uncertainty as to what to do. Jake's aunt had recently been put into Azkaban for a crime she never committed, putting Matt in a troubled sense due to his now wavering loyalty to the Ministry. Matt turned then to the dark arts with Jake's mother placing Jake in the care of Jake's grandfather, Sven, and then leaving the country. As such, Jake grew up in Edinburgh while Sven tried to pull Matt back from the darkness through reason, eventually succeeding in time for Jake's ninth birthday. As a result of Matt's nine years of criminal activity, though, he spent the next four years in Azkaban before gaining parole and returning in a probationary status to his career as an auror.
Jake spent his youth often hanging out with friends, though it wasn't long before he discovered that he was a parseltounge, an ability that baffled him due to him not really liking snakes. Upon his discovery, some of his friends hesitated about being around him, afraid that setting Jake off would lead to them being attacked by snakes. Jake was quick to disprove this however as a snake attempted to attack one of his friends, only for Jake to tell it to stop and leave, succeeding. Shortly thereafter, as Jake had just turned eleven at the time, he received his invitation to Hogwarts.
Jake's first year in Hogwarts went relatively uneventful aside from an incident involving a cobra attempting to attack him. Jake quickly discovered that the cobra was defanged and couldn't do any permanent harm. Jake opted to keep the snake as a pet, hoping to get over his aversion to snakes. Year two had nothing to show outside of his high grades. Year three saw Jake's father being released from Azkaban, though nothing substantial occured otherwise.
Jake has now entered the fourth year and is ready to take on whatever challenges are in store.

Jake, for one of the rare times in his life, was not all that eager for potions. Of course, that may have had to do with the fact that they'd be using shed snake skin as part of a potion, a thought which gave him a severe chill up his spine. He was of half a mind to just quit class for today too, though something in him thought otherwise. He quietly got dressed in his school robes and grabbed the bag he had filled with the supplies he would need. He then left the common room and headed off to class. On his way to class, Jake was quick to notice that he was being followed, though the person was trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. Jake took a few quick turns, but the person stayed on him the whole time. After a few more turns, Jake turned around to confront the person, only to find that they had left.
This calm character is played by Aaron. Ten have passed since I began this adventure. However, I have been living for twenty one years and have been known as that friendly type of guy.
